Our goal is to produce quality earth-friendly
furnishings that are accessible to everyone. We
promise to meet the following criteria with every

* RECLAIMED or LOCAL, Forest Stewardship
Council (FSC) approved lumber
*ECO-FRIENDLY FINISHES
*Produced LOCALLY
*Made by hand, in ENERGY EFFICIENT shop
*Purchase CARBON OFFSETS from carbonfund.org
*Participate in TVA’s GREEN POWER SWITCH
*All scraps from production are RECYCLED
Staff:
The Craftsman:
Daniel Balog is a native of Ohio and Florida. He spent 10
years in the steel industry before earning his degree from
the Cleveland Institute of Art. He is an artist, carpenter, and
metal fabricator. He has won recognition in art shows &
galleries around the country, as well as being a juror at the
2006 Cain Park Arts Festival. Daniel also has a background
in education, with hours of volunteer work teaching art to
children in Ohio schools. His experience, skill & creative
vision have led him to produce some of he most exciting
furniture you'll find.
Support staff :
Amy Balog is originally from Ohio. She has a background
in geology/environmental science, education, and
carpentry. She handles the environmental research,
materials, construction, finishing, sales and delivery.
Tom is a great new addition to our business. He is a retired
machinist, and multi-talented. He assists with construction
as well as independent projects.
Joshua has relocated to New York State, but continues to
be our tech support.
Gabby is our assembly & finishing assistant.
Jakob is the barn jester and assembly assistant.
Danny is our product tester and hammer-stealer.
